ADVISORY/MetaSwitch to Introduce the VP3500 Next Generation Class 5 Switch at SUPERCOMM in Atlanta; Press Conference Scheduled for June 5 at 1:30 in Room A408
--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Building on its recent success with customer wins and trials, MetaSwitch, a leading supplier of carrier-class, next generation switching solutions, will introduce its new flagship product the VP3500 at SUPERCOMM this year.
The MetaSwitch VP3500, a Next Generation Class 5 Switch, the VP3500, adds Voice over IP (VoIP) access to the existing VoATM and legacy POTS access, making it the only genuine next generation Class 5 switch that allows service providers to reach voice subscribers over such a broad range of access/transports.
A number of carriers are already on board for trials of the VP3500 which will begin in the next few weeks. MetaSwitch's original product, the VP3000, is currently in trials and live deployments in the ILEC, CLEC and rural independent carrier community in North America.
In addition to briefing customers, press and analysts at the booth, MetaSwitch will also be holding a press conference to describe the features of the VP3500 on Wednesday, June 5 at 1:30 a.m. in room A408.
